Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how SEF Industries (“we,” “us,” or “our”) accesses, uses, and protects information when you connect your Google account to our application (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Information we access

The Service is a personal productivity assistant that helps you manage your email and calendar. The Google scopes below are only requested if you choose to connect your Google account through the SEF Industries MCP Connector. If you do not use the connector, we do not request or access any of this data. When you do connect, we access the following Google user data with your explicit consent through Google’s OAuth flow:

• Gmail — we read your messages and may, at your direction, modify, label, draft, and send mail on your behalf.
• Google Calendar — we read and manage your calendar events.
• Google Search Console — we access your site’s search performance data.
• Basic account information — your name, email address, and Google profile, used to identify your account.

We only request the scopes needed to provide the features you use, and you may decline or revoke access at any time.

How we use your information

We use your Google data solely to provide and operate the Service’s features for you — for example, summarizing and organizing email, drafting or sending messages you request, and reading or scheduling calendar events. We do not use your data for advertising, and we do not sell it.

Limited Use disclosure

SEF Industries’ use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. In particular, we do not use Google user data to train or improve generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models, and we do not allow humans to read your data except (a) with your consent, (b) as necessary for security or to comply with applicable law, or (c) where the data has been aggregated and anonymized.

Sharing your information

We do not share your Google data except with infrastructure and AI service providers that process it on our behalf, strictly to deliver the Service’s features to you, and only as permitted by the Limited Use requirements above. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights and safety of users.

Data retention and storage

We retain your Google data only as long as needed to provide the Service or as required by law. You can request deletion of your data, or revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page. Revoking access stops further data collection and prompts deletion of associated stored data.

Data security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, including encryption in transit and access controls, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date above.
